Learn to Play the Native American Flute with our Free Fall Classes!

There is still time to register for our Native American Flute Class!  This free class runs is held every Thursday morning at 9:05 am from September 19 to OctImageober 10, 2013 in Meeting Room A.

The Native American flute has been reported to be the third oldest known musical instrument in the world.  This is your opportunity to learn an instrument which creates soothing and beautiful music.

Experienced teachers will provide instruction in flute techniques, and will work with you to find your personal style of music. Each class will provides plenty of opportunities to explore the flute with interactive activities.  No music experience necessary, as this is a very simple instrument to play.

Flutes can be purchased from the instructor for $25 on the first day of class.  Correct change is appreciated; however, checks will be accepted if necessary.

Due to the progressive nature of this class, no more than one absence will be allowed during the duration of the session.  Participants must attend the first class, NO EXCEPTIONS.

For more information or to register for class, contact the Fountaindale Public Library at (630) 685-4176.  If you have specific questions for the class instructor, you may e-mail Pat Smith at latif1@sbcglobal.net.
