Please join us at the Fountaindale Library for a program on Cooking for Health: Healing Foods and Cooking on Thursday Feb. 4th, 7pm at our Bolingbrook location. Dr. Melody Hart will give a presentation about controlling belly fat and lowering blood pressure, cholesterol and diabetes, using foods with a low to moderate Glycemic index. Glycemic index is a measure of how high a food will make your blood sugar rise. Learn how to shop for and cook with low Glycemic index foods.
