Holidays Around the World

Want to know how Christmas is celebrated in Japan? Or maybe you want to know more about Hanukkah?  I found a real neat website with everything you want to know about the way the Holidays are celebrated around the world brought to you by Chicago’s own Museum of Science and Industry. If you can’t go to their Christmas trees display, you can at least learn the stories behind the trees!

You’ll learn the traditional Lithuanian Christmas greeting of “Linksmu Kaledu” Or maybe you want to learn about Dipa Lights that are used in the Indian Holiday of Diwali.

This is a great website for both adults and kids. It is really a great place for those school projects or maybe planning an “around the world” holiday party! Or impress your coworkers with “Froehiliche Weihnachten!
